Cumulus radio is still profitable, but their revenue was down over three million last year.

The CEO doesn't hesitate to name the cause. 48 out of 50 major ad agencies now specify that their clients don't want their ads running during Limbaugh's hour or Beck's hour.

Limbaugh's contract with the network expires at the end of this year.

This is the result of a couple of antiLimbaugh organizations pressuring advertisiers, FlushRush and Stoprush.com.


Personally, I would like to see these gentlemen remain on the air as long as they have a devoted audience. 

And I'm confident both will remain on the radio for now. I think it would bd both just and appropriate if the devoted audience had to meet Rusty's bloated salary demands.
