Dave reading some of your other writing today has left me thinking, "How could I say it better or add anything to it?"
Joe, that's always THE problem in writing -- finding the best words to convey the thought and communicate it with maximum effect.Gustave Flaubert called it the search for "la mot juste," (the right word).
So true, Dave, and keep doing well. I find it amazing that misfortune in word selection can cause an effect much different than I intend. I lost a friend that way! I can relate to Gustave Flaubert's apparent difficulty.

The stock markets could do no better than to eek out a small gain today, with the Dow Jones Average closing up 22 points.
