Glenn Greenwald informs us that "As the Obama administration announced plans for hundreds of billions of dollars more in domestic budget cuts, it late last week solicited bids for the construction of a massive new prison in Bagram, Afghanistan."
The new facility will house up to 2,000 "detainees," and the government estimates construction costs will be $25 million to $100 million.
